Day 1: Lake Nakuru
An early morning pick up From your Hotel in Nairobi then drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, across the equator,
southwards of Bogoria, lies the rift valleys most famous lake Nakuru. Known all over the world
for its flamingoes, it’s alkaline and is recognized as being one of the natural wonders of the
world. Lake Nakuru is now a rhino sanctuary, harboring a population of over 40 black and over
60 white rhinos, but the flamingos, of course, have always been the main attraction. At times
there may be almost 2 million flamingos in the residence, forming a stunningly beautiful deep
pink band around the edge of the lake shore. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon
game drive.

Day 2: Maasai Mara
An early morning drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, it holds on as one of the few places left on earth where wildlife still lives comparatively undisturbed, in the numbers that once roamed the plains and forests of Africa. As the northern tip of the vast Serengeti ecosystem, the Mara hosts the spectacular seasonal migration of many thousands of Wildebeest, Zebras and attendant predators. Arrive in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive.

Day 3-4: Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast we have a full day dame drive, with packed lunch provided. The reserve is well known for its black-maned lion, as well as its abundant resident wildlife and its one of the few places where it’s possible to see the big five during a morning’s game drive. Many of the cheetahs are so tame they seek shelter from the hot sun under one’s vehicle and several even climb onto the roof to get better view of prospective prey. For the bird enthusiast, almost 500 species have been recorded: among these 16 species of eagle, plus many hawks and falcons, 6 species of vultures, 8 species of storks 4 of bustard (including the Kori bustard, the world’s heaviest flying bird), and 9 species of sun birds.

Day 5: From Maasai Mara to Serengeti National Park
On this day, you will be transferring from Masai Mara to Serengeti National park (through Isebania border). This transfer takes almost the whole day but during a great part of the journey (in the morning in Masai Mara and in the Afternoon in the Serengeti) you will be doing game drive as well.
Afternoon game drive en-route to tented camp. Accommodation can be upgraded to higher level options (at extra costs) or downgraded to more economic ones (price reduction).

Day 6-7: Serengeti National Park
The famous Serengeti National Park, home of the Great Migration. The game drive is spectacular as you drive up the crater highlands, stopping at the rim. Continuing on, spreading out is the vast Serengeti. Serengeti means “endless plains” in Kiswahili and this 6,900 sq. mile (18,000 sq. km) park is inhabited by more than 2 million large animals including more than a million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of plains zebras, and Thomson’s gazelles, large predators including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Many smaller animals like rock hyrax or monkeys also inhabit the area along with nearly 500 species of birds. On the second day, after breakfast, full day in Serengeti National Park (morning and afternoon game drives).

Day 8: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Early morning safari before breakfast, to spot the animals when they are more active and also to have a fantastic sun rise in front of you. After the game drive, return to the camp for brunch, followed by a transfer to Ngorongoro. With walls 2,000 ft high and a crater floor that spreads for 102 sq. miles, the crater is a virtual Noah’s Ark, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa including the rare black rhino. In fact, the crater has the greatest concentration of wild life in the planet. It contains a river, several swamps, from the top, looks like steam, full of flamingoes, a forest and open plains. The large bull elephants that reside here have extremely large tusk, due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses.

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater
Very early in the morning, descend down to the crater floor for a day of wildlife viewing in one of the most incredible places on Earth. After a stop for a picnic lunch near the hippo lake, and more wildlife viewing in the afternoon, drive up the steep road out of the crater and transfer to Manyara for overnight. You can also visit Tarangire instead of Manyara and we recommend it from June to September.
Possibility to visit Oldonyo Sambu Maasai Village on the way to Manyara/Tarangire.

Day 8: Maasai Mara National Reserve
You can have an optional early morning balloon safari ride (US$450.00 per person ) across the Masai Mara plains.
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge then go for morning and afternoon game drives. Masai Mara is an extension of the Serengeti ecosystem to the south. Game abounds here. The Mara is noted for its abundance of lions, particularly the superb black maned males. During the great migration, over 1.5 million wildebeest and other antelopes cross the mighty Mara River. You are also likely to see lots of elephants here often in large herds. If you’re lucky, you’ll see leopard, cheetah and rhino. All of the Big Five are residents. You’re sure to see the African buffalo. Get the cameras ready, stock up on film/tapes and enjoy yourselves! In the evening, visit a Maasai village.

Day 9: Maasai Mara
Wake before the dawn for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness a Maasai Mara sunrise. After a quick cup of coffee, you’ll head out into the park to watch as the sun sets fire to the savannah and the big cats take advantage of the morning cool to search for a meal.
Alternatively, you can take to the skies with a hot air balloon safari that will see you soar above all of the action before setting down on the plains for a champagne breakfast among the wildlife. Ask your safari expert about adding a hot air balloon adventure to your safari.
You’ll then return to your lodge for a late breakfast before packing a picnic lunch and heading back out into the park for a day-long exploration of the Maasai Mara. You may also opt to relax at your lodge in the morning, enjoy lunch on site, and then head out again in the afternoon once the weather has cooled off a bit.

Day 10: Lake Manyara National Park to Zanzibar
Depart after breakfast and drive across the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive. This enchanting park is noted for its beauty and incredibly lush acacia forest of giant fig and mahogany trees, which are home to troops of baboons and blue monkeys. It is very famous for its stunning bird variety. The park is also home to a large number of buffalos, giraffes, elephants, impalas and a Hippo lake, where large numbers of hippos usually gather. This park has become famous for the the climbing lions and the flamingos in the lake shore. The game drives are done along the shore of the lake, providing incredible views of animals in the foreground with the lake, flamingos and flat plains in the horizon. In the afternoon, you will have a flight to Zanzibar around 4pm for three days of relaxation.

Day 11-13: Zanzibar
You can take some rest and enjoy this paradise made of beautiful beaches of white sand and turquoise water of the Indian Ocean. There is a possibility of extra activities such as a Day Tour in Stone Town (includes Old Town guided tour, Spice Tour and Prison Island – lunch not included), Half Day Tour (includes Old Town guided tour or Spice Tour or Prison Island). Another suggestion is Jozani Forest tour (lunch not included).

Day 14: Fly to Victoria Falls
Today you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Vic Falls. You will be met on arrival at Victoria Falls airport where you will be transferred to the Lodge for the next two nights to settle in.
This afternoon you will me met and transferred for your Zambezi Dinner Cruise. As the sun begins its descent, step on board our floating restaurant for an exceptional evening on the Zambezi River. On the upper deck, guests are offered a glass of sparkling wine to sip as they settle into the very comfortable furniture and relax before the journey along the Zambezi River begins; all the while looking out for the various bird life and animals there are to be seen and then watching as one of Africa’s famous sunsets erupts in the sky. After the sun has sunk below the river line, dinner is served on the lower deck of the vessel with the rich aroma of locally sourced, fresh ingredients. After the experience you will be dropped off at Batonka Guest Lodge.

Day 15 Victoria Falls
After breakfast you will be met and taken for a guided tour of Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Walk through the magnificent rain forest where you are able to view the largest falling sheet of water on earth, Livingstone’s statue and a wide variety of birds and plants.
This afternoon you may wish to undertake one of the many optional activities available such as Helicopter flights, Elephant interaction, game drives and more.
